Biography

Barry Sanders is Professor at the University of Calgary and Scientific Director of Quantum City. He also serves as Senior Fellow at the Centre for International Governance Innovation (CIGI) and Scientist at Creative Destruction Lab.

Research Interests

Research and training in quantum information, including quantum control, quantum optics, quantum sensing, quantum communication, and quantum computing, spanning computer science, mathematical physics, theoretical physics, and theoretical chemistry, together with collaboration and co-development with experimentalists.
